First Visit
The initial visit with Dr. LeCroy is very important because it gives us the opportunity to diagnose and treat the mouth as a whole. We start with a full series of x-rays. Ther set is used for five years and Dr. LeCroy takes an up-close image of every tooth. If you have current x-rays from your previous dentist, we will ask you to sign a release form so that we can obtain those x-rays. From these x-rays, Dr. LeCroy can diagnose issues not seen by the naked eye, for example, root abscesses, cancerous tumors, and periodontal disease. Dr. LeCroy uses these x-rays in conjunction with a very thorough intra-oral examination of the teeth, gums, jaw joint and oral tissues.
After the initial exam, Dr. LeCroy and her staff will discuss with you any any issues that need to be addressed and give you treatment options. A treatment plan is generated which includes the fees and the dental work to be done at our office. We are more than happy to answer any questions you may have and will work with you to understand your treatment plan and what to expect.
